The Compassionate Eating Conference was a fantastic success! We brought expert presenters together in at the Marin Humane Society in Bel Marin Keys, Califorina to share their ideas about the best food choices we can make for the planet and the all the earth’s animals. Our 2024 Humane Hoax Chicken Webinar was on May 4th, International Respect for Chickens Day, and we dedicated our event to the woman who created this day of action, the late Karen Davis, founder and president of United Poultry Concerns. We believe that chickens are the most exploited of the farmed land animals, and certainly in the greatest numbers. We want to focus our attention on them with this unique event and this year is especially poignant with the loss of one of the greatest advocates for chickens, Karen Davis. We had great presenters this year with some fascinating topics from the avian flu crisis to chicken advocacy strategy. Watch the videos here.
